Located at the far northern point of the Grand Strand, Cherry Grove is arguably the most popular vacation spot in North Myrtle Beach. Developed in the 1950's on a series of man made channels, the area offers plenty of water and ocean views.
While Cherry Grove is part of North Myrtle Beach, it often feels like a separate community. With the highest concentration of private beach homes and mid rise condo buildings, there is a small town, family feel. During the summer months, the preferred mode of transportation is a golf cart and the area is full of vacationers. Fishing is plentiful in the tidal marshes and from the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier. Conveniently located to Highway 17 and 9, restaurants, shopping, and golf are just minutes away.
